Come and find stillness and space at Taize Time, a gathering of sung, spoken and silent prayer.
Taize worship originated in the monastic community of Taize, France. It seeks to create a peaceful and restorative experience for mind, body and spirit. In our noisy world, the opportunity to be still or silent with one another is rare. Yet it can offer unexpected gifts.
“In silence, we often say, we can hear ourselves think; but what is truer to say is that in silence we can hear ourselves not think, and so sink below ourselves into a place far deeper than mere thought allows. In silence, we might better say, we can hear someone else think” Pico Iyer
So whether Taize worship is new or familiar to you, wherever you are on your journey, know that a warm welcome awaits you at Taize Time.
