Sunday 23rd Jan – Edinburgh City Centre Churches Together Service at St John’s.

This week we are very warmly welcomed by our ecumenical siblings at St John’s Episcopal Church on Princes Street as we join together for a combined city centre service. And the preacher will be our own the Revd Dr Rosie Magee, Minister of St Andrew’s & St George’s West. This is an annual event – only interrupted in the past two years because of the global pandemic. The presider is the Revd Eileen Thompson, a member of the Ministry Team of St John’s. Eileen was ordained presbyter in the Church of South India, a Christian community in full communion/full altar- and pulpit fellowship with both the Church of Scotland and the Scottish Episcopal Church. It is good to come together and worship as one the one God with whom we are for ever united in the one baptism. All are very welcome!
