We have a vacancy for an experienced and skilled administrator to work with us on a part-time basis to support our ministry. As a faith-based organisation our beliefs underpin everything we do. The successful candidate will be expected to be in sympathy with, and supportive of, this understanding of our community life.
The role entails the provision of administrative and communication support to our church community. In addition to the strong administration skills to provide diary management, reception, telephone and general office duties you will be expected to act as first point of contact for all users of the church. You will also be required to maintain record of regulatory licenses and to assist in the recording of financial transactions.
You will be proficient in the use of MS Office and will have an expertise in the use of social media. Your ability to work on your own initiative, your accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality will be of equal importance. Your excellent communication skills will also enable you to engage successfully with a wide range of people.
