Sunday 11am Morning Worship: Salvation for All (with Communion)
October 30, 2016 @ 11:00 am - 11:55 am
11am Morning Worship at St Andrew’s and St George’s West includes a stimulating 10 minute talk and excellent choral and instrumental music.
Today’s theme is Salvation for All and the key text is Luke 19:1–10. The service includes the celebration of Communion and everyone who seeks to follow Jesus is welcome at our table
Rev Ian Y Gilmour usually leads worship.
Brigitte Harris directs our choir and musicians. Music today:
Introit: Palestrina Illumina oculos meos
Anthem: L. de Victoria O quam gloriosum
MacMillan Sanctus and Benedictus (from St Anne’s Mass)
During Communion: Rihards Dubra Ubi Caritas
Children of all ages are welcome, enjoying a short talk and then creative learning and play in our Bright Sparks Children’s programme.
After worship there’s a chance to enjoy a really good cup of coffee or tea – fair trade of course – and to chat downstairs in the Undercroft.
On the first Sunday of every month you can enjoy a simple lunch of soup, bread and cheese and home baking in exchange for a donation. Proceeds go to local charities.
