Sunday 11am Morning Worship

11am Morning Worship at St Andrew’s and St George’s West includes a stimulating 10 minute talk and excellent choral and instrumental music.
Rev Ian Y Gilmour usually leads worship. Our theme today is What We Discern Thinking about True Wisdom and the key text is Ephesians 5:15–20
Brigitte Harris directs our choir and musicians.
The introit today is Felix Mendelssohn Lift thine eyes
and the anthem is Scottish Traditional Skye Boat Song
Children of all ages are welcome, enjoying a short talk and then creative learning and play in our Bright Sparks Children’s programme.
After worship there’s a chance to enjoy a really good cup of coffee or tea – fair trade of course – and to chat downstairs in the Undercroft.
On the first Sunday of every month you can enjoy a simple lunch of soup, bread and cheese and home baking in exchange for a donation. Proceeds go to local charities.
