More than three years have passed since the nuclear power plant accident in Fukushima of 11 March 2011. How is the current situation of the environmental radiation in Fukushima?
Mr Kimiaki Saito, Japan Atomic Energy Agency, has conducted a large-scale environmental radiation monitoring, contamination mapping based on the monitoring results, and investigation on radiocesium movement in the environment. He gave a talk on the same topic in Glasgow in November 2013, and the summary of his talk is available. He will talk about the latest environmental situation in Fukushima.
