Inherit the Earth Exhibition
June 3 - June 14
We are delighted to bring our touring Christian Aid photography exhibition Inherit the Earth to the Undercroft Café at St Andrew’s and St George’s West until the 14th June. It comes hot on the heels of the Christian Aid Sale, which filled the Café space with colourful paintings and artworks.
Bolivia is the poorest country in South America and a place where Christian Aid has been working through partner organisations for 30 years. It is also a country which is feeling the impact of climate change, with severe flooding in 2014 and drought just two years later. Christian Aid’s work supports remote indigenous communities to become more resilient by introducing solar technology, such as solar ovens, and by planting crops that are adaptable to sudden changes in weather.
The vibrant pictures and stories in Inherit the Earth will transport you to the Bolivian Amazon and our work there. The exhibition also seeks to celebrate the impact of leaving a gift to Christian Aid in your Will.
Legacy gifts fund some of our work in Bolivia and also allow us to commit to long-term development work in the countries around the world where we help those most in need and tackle the root causes of poverty. Do take ten minutes to look around the exhibition and immerse yourself in the lush and tropical Amazon rainforest, the lungs of our planet.
Please email Jo Dallas if you have any questions about the exhibition email@example.com or call 0141 2416139.
The Undercroft Café at St Andrew’s and St George’s West is open Monday-Friday 10am-2pm
