The Genius of George Gershwin

Following highly successful evenings with Novello, Berlin, Porter and Kern evenings, Fife’s premier operatic concert group Ensemble (www.ensembleinfife.org.uk) celebrates its 25th successive year in the superb setting of St Andrew’s and St George’s West with a programme in word and song celebrating the genius of George Gershwin. Although he died before he was 40, Gershwin’s prolific output included Swanee, Summertime, S’Wonderul, Embraceable You and his revolutionary American folk opera Porgy and Bess.
