Christmas Truce Concert

Join the German Consulate General for a festive charity event in commemoration of the First World War.
This is a Christmas concert in memory of the famous ‘truce‘ between troops on the front in Flanders on Christmas Eve in 1914.
An evening of German and British Christmas carols performed by the German all-male vocal group Ensemble miXtur will be accompanied by readings and poetry depicting the historic events of the Christmas truce.
Contributions made on the evening will be donated to charity.
