Christian Aid Appeal and Book Sale.

Celebrating its 50th year we are pleased to host the world renowned Christian Aid Book sale once again. Details are below. Come one and all, grab a bargain and help an amazing cause in the process.
The 2022 Book Sale opens at 10am on Saturday 14 May and runs through Christian Aid Week. In the last 10 years over £1m has been raised for the work of Christian Aid, a global movement of people, churches and local organisations which seeks to eradicate global poverty by tackling its root causes.

Wednesday 18 May 10am – 3pm
Thursday 19 May 10am-7pm
Friday 20 May 10am – 3.30pm (Antiques, Toys and records close at 1.30pm)

Donating items to the sale?
You can donate items to the sale at the church from Monday 2 May to Wednesday 11th May every day except Sunday 8 May from 9am-3pm
Update Wednesday 5 May: Due to an unprecedented amount of donations and unforeseen circumstances we are sorry that we cannot accept donations of books and other items at the church after 3pm from Wednesday 5 May to Wednesday 11th May (Sundays closed) Please bring your items between 9am and 3pm when our volunteers can accept them. We also ask that you do not leave any donations at the church outside of these hours. We apologise for having to reduce our hours and for any inconvenience this causes. Nevertheless, the Sale will open as planned at 10am on Saturday 14 May. Thank you for your support for Christian Aid at St Andrew’s and St George’s West Edinburgh
