Architectural Heritage Society

March 4 @ 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Since the second – devastating – fire at Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s Glasgow School of Art, the project to restore this iconic building has been seismically changed in timescale and expansiveness; but the underlying intent remains – to restore to the City its much cherished and creative ‘castle on the hill’.  The lecture will explore the aftermath of the fire and the ways in which the restoration team has re-examined its approach to the much greater challenge ahead.

Cost: £5 / Free for Students / Members may attend 6 lectures for £25

Non-members most welcome.
