We seek an enthusiastic and experienced musician as Director of Music to lead and further develop the musical life and worship of our congregation.

You will be expected to oversee and broaden the variety of sung and instrumental music in worship, encouraging all abilities.

You will be expected to direct a choir. You will be expected to play the organ and piano, as required, for Sunday morning worship and conduct rehearsals with a choir. The organ is a two manual Wells Kennedy, installed in 1984, refurbished and enhanced in 2014 and regularly maintained. The piano is a 2006 Yamaha SB6, regularly maintained and in very fine condition.

Salary on point C of the Church of Scotland – Scottish Federation of Organists scale.
