St Andrew’s and St George’s West Choir
St Andrew’s and St George’s West Choir supports Sunday services and also tours, performs concerts and sings at special events.
We sponsor two choral scholarships. Contact the Director of Music for details.
A Vocal Ensemble for Special Occasions
Our ensemble of young professional singers is available to perform at special events. They provide music for weddings, memorial services and other functions as requested

Meet the team: music
Brigitte Harris is Director of Music at St Andrew’s and St George’s West.
She graduated with a Masters degree in Church Music from Hochschule für Musik in Detmold, Germany, having studied organ with Helmut Tramnitz and Gerhard Weinberger and choral conducting with Alexander Wagner.
Brigitte is a Lecturer in Harmony, Keyboard Skills and Improvisation at the Ian Tomlin School of Music at Edinburgh Napier University.
She also teaches organ at George Watson’s College and has a busy teaching practice in and around Edinburgh.
